California Enrichment Institute (CEI) is a nonprofit religious organization based in Los Angeles, California, dedicated to promoting spiritual growth, faith-based education, and the recognition of individuals who serve and uplift their communities.

We welcome people of all backgrounds, faiths, and nationalities. We believe that true identity and purpose are discovered through connection: to one another, to the natural world, and to enduring humanitarian values such as compassion and peace.

Our aim is to inspire service, reflection, and the enrichment of the human spirit through faith-centered initiatives and honorary recognitions.

Our Mission

Our mission is to award honorary degrees to individuals who inspire others through their generosity, service, and dedication.

We believe that education is not confined to classrooms - it unfolds across a lifetime: at work, at home, in communities, and in places of worship. This lived learning is valuable and deserves recognition.

 

Our Story

California Enrichment Institute is the successor to Los Angeles Development Church & Institute (LADC Institute), continuing the same mission, values, and religious authority under a renewed name and expanded vision.

 

We began as a small community-based initiative. When we first awarded honorary doctorates to local members, we witnessed something remarkable - a renewed sense of purpose, pride, and motivation to continue their charitable work.

Seeing this transformation, we committed to expanding our mission globally. Across the world, extraordinary people devote their time, skills, and resources to serving others, often without acknowledgment or reward. We believe such individuals deserve to be honored.
