Dr. (h.c.) Tamás Asperján

California Enrichment Institute is pleased to recognize Tamás Asperján of Budapest, Hungary as our Honorary Doctor of the Month for April 2026, following the conferment of the honorary degree of Doctor of Humane Letters (Honoris Causa).

Tamás is an internationally experienced media and film professional whose work spans film production, digital cinema technologies, media consulting, and creative development across Europe and the United States. Over the course of his career, he has contributed to a wide range of projects within the global media landscape, combining artistic direction with advanced technical expertise.

His professional background includes work in film directing, producing, and visual development, as well as consulting for broadcasters, streaming platforms, and media organizations. He has been involved in projects connected to major international platforms and has provided advisory support in areas such as programming strategy, media development, and technological implementation.

In addition to his work in film and media, Tamás is also the founder and festival director of the Adolph Zukor International Film Festival, an initiative focused on supporting and mentoring emerging filmmakers. His work reflects a continued interest in fostering creative talent and contributing to the development of the film and media community.

His contributions also extend into innovation and technology, including the development of proprietary systems related to immersive visual effects, audio technologies, and secure digital film delivery. These efforts highlight a unique combination of creative vision and technical problem-solving within the evolving landscape of digital media.

Throughout his career, he has also shared his knowledge through academic and professional lectures, contributing to media and film education in both the United States and Europe.

In recognition of his contributions to film, media, and cultural development, California Enrichment Institute has conferred upon Tamás Asperján the honorary degree of Doctor of Humane Letters (Honoris Causa). We are pleased to feature him this month in acknowledgment of his ongoing work and impact within the international media community.

Rev. Dr. (h.c.) Jerone N. Wilder

California Enrichment Institute is pleased to recognize Reverend Jerone N. Wilder of Spartanburg, South Carolina, as our Honorary Doctor of the Month for March 2026.

Rev. Wilder has devoted nearly two decades to preaching the Gospel and serving in pastoral ministry. He currently serves as Pastor of his local church, where he has spent the past two years preaching, teaching Scripture, and providing spiritual guidance and pastoral care to members of his congregation.

Beyond his pastoral role, Rev. Wilder is actively engaged in education and community service throughout the Greenville–Spartanburg region. His work includes substitute teaching, tutoring, ESL instruction, and afterschool caregiving. He also volunteers with organizations that support community wellbeing, including advocacy efforts with the Alzheimer’s Association, early childhood reading programs, and collaboration with fellow clergy through a local interfaith alliance.

Rev. Wilder’s ministry reflects a commitment to serving both the spiritual and practical needs of the community. Through his work in the church, in education, and alongside community partners, he demonstrates a belief that meaningful service involves caring for the whole person and working together for the common good.

Rev. Wilder was originally conferred the honorary degree of Doctor of Divinity (Honoris Causa) in 2021 through the former Los Angeles Development Church & Institute (LADC Institute). In February 2026, California Enrichment Institute further recognized his ongoing service by conferring upon him the honorary degree of Doctor of Humane Letters (Honoris Causa).

Reflecting on his experience with CEI, Rev. Wilder shared that the institute “recognizes individuals who pour into their communities through their hard work, dedication, and commitment.

Dr. Cyril Chijioke Umeh

California Enrichment Institute is pleased to recognize Dr. Cyril Chijioke Umeh of Calgary, Canada as our Honorary Doctor of the Month for February, honoring a life and career dedicated to leadership, community development, and faith-based service across Africa, Europe, and North America.

With more than two decades of experience in diplomacy, financial management, nonprofit governance, and international development, Dr. Umeh has consistently worked at the intersection of service and stewardship. His leadership has supported initiatives focused on inclusive growth, community empowerment, and sustainable development, particularly within faith and diaspora communities.

Reflecting on his life’s work, Dr. Umeh notes that “our greatest legacy is the positive impact we leave on the lives of others.” This principle has guided his service across public, faith-based, and community organizations, where he has provided strategic direction and governance in pursuit of long-term social impact.

Dr. Umeh views this recognition not only as an acknowledgment of past contributions, but as motivation for continued service. As he shared, “this conferment serves as both a validation of past efforts and a powerful catalyst for future service.” In the coming years, he looks ahead to expanding his humanitarian commitments, including his anticipated investiture in March 2026 as a Diplomat and Knight of Malta (Federation of Autonomous Priories).

In recognition of his contributions, California Enrichment Institute conferred upon Dr. Umeh the Doctor of Community Development (Honoris Causa). His work exemplifies the values of service, integrity, and purpose-driven leadership that CEI seeks to uplift.  We extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Umeh for his dedication to service.
